

Stan Dotson will be our guest preacher on Sunday, June 4. He will share stories and songs from his years of living in Matanzas, Cuba in recent years. Following the service, he will share Cuban music and stories from his latest book and invite questions and conversation.
Stan has been traveling to Cuba since the 1990s, and has guided over 40 groups in visits to Cuban churches. He and his wife Kim lived and worked in Cuba full-time in 2014-15 and 2017-20, and now travel back on month-long visits several times a year. Stan served as Associate Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Matanzas for three years, and he has published two books from his time there: Cuba: A Day in the Life (2016) and Where Are They Going? Stories and Backstories of Five Cubans (2023).
