Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, all worship services and gathering at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit are suspended until further notice.

A weekly reflection by Rev. David McNair and/or Rev. Deacon Ty Jones is a part of the Morning Prayer service held Sundays. You are invited to participate in a live, virtual service on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. (Links to the text of recent sermons by Rev. McNair can be found at the bottom of the column at right.)

To participate in our weekly Sunday service, please contact Martie Carson by email: officeholyspiritwnc@gmail.com and she will include you on the weekly email invitation to the Morning Prayer services on Sundays. Contact Peggy Barnes if you wish to use PayPal for offerings or donations to ECHS.

Church of the Holy Spirit is a rural Episcopal parish located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, near the college town of Mars Hill in Madison County, which is north of Asheville. Many have come to Holy Spirit from other denominations, choosing this parish for its warm Christian community. We accept others for who they are and welcome anyone, regardless of their social, political, and theological views. Come visit us soon. Here's when we get together:
