How to Find Us Coming From Asheville
Take Route I-26 north, as if going to Johnson City. Watch for Exit 11, which will guide you into Mars Hill, home of Mars HIll College and the Southern Appalachian Repertory Theater. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left. Stay on that road and continue through Mars Hill on Route 213. You will not turn again until you reach Bone Camp Road, which is 2.4 miles from the center traffic light of Mars Hill. See below for the remainder of these directions.
How to Find Us Coming From Mars Hill
From the center of Mars Hill, starting at the traffic light next to the post office, go west on Rt. 213, driving in the direction of Marshall. You will travel 2.4 miles before you arrive at Bone Camp Road, which you will see on the right.
Notice the little sign with the Episcopal emblem where Bone Camp Road intersects with Rt. 213. Turn right on Bone Camp and go 0.4 miles along a curving road. You will see the green church sign at your left, next to a gravel driveway. Turn left and drive up the steep gravel driveway, which will curve around to the right before you can clearly see the church.
How to Find Us Coming From Near Marshall
Starting at the intersection of Rt. 213 with 25/70, (next to the Madison campus of AB Tech) go east on Rt. 213, driving in the direction of Mars Hill. You will pass the French Broad Electric Company. You will go through Petersburg.
Five miles from the US 25/70 intersection, you will see Bone Camp Road on your left. Notice the little sign with the Episcopal emblem where Bone Camp intersects with Rt. 213.
Turn left on Bone Camp Road and go 0.4 miles along a curving road. You will see the green church sign at your left, next to a gravel driveway. Turn left and drive up the steep gravel driveway, which will curve around to the right before you can clearly see the church.
Entrance for Physically Challenged
If you cannot climb the steep steps leading to the main entrance of the church, here's how to enter the church without using stairs: Keep driving to the far end of the church parking lot. The driveway winds to the right and goes up to a small parking area next to a door. Feel welcome to park your car and then enter the door and keep walking straight ahead until you reach the main foyer. (It's a small building. Impossible to get lost!)
