The Church of the Holy Spirit is a rural Episcopal parish located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, near the college town of Mars Hill in Madison County, which is north of Asheville. Directions for getting here.

This is a welcoming, loving Christian community, committed to serving God, one another and our neighbors. Many have come to Holy Spirit from other denominations, choosing this parish for its warm Christian community and its commitment to service. We accept others for who they are and welcome anyone, regardless of their social, political, and theological views. Come visit us soon. Here's when we get together:

First Wednesdays
On the first Wednesday of each month, there is a potluck at 6:00 followed by a Eucharist.

A Practice from the Climate Committee: Meatless Mondays. Help lessen the impact of the meat industry on global warning by eating less meat. To start off, choose one day a week to abstain from meat.
